E desde então Elena assiste sua vida virar um inferno, sem conseguir fazer nada.

Harry Petrova Styles um vampiro que morre de medo da irmã, acaba se apaixonando pela garota errada, e por isso se submete a todas as ordens de Kathe.

Niall Gilbert Horan que durante seus 18 anos acaba descobrindo que é um ser sobrenatural, se apaixona pela pior pessoa possível segundo sua irmã. Uma pessoa fria e sem a minima humanidade, mas isso muda após Katherine mostrar que ainda guarda sua mais pura humanidade.
